01 / The problem
The Umweltzentrum Fulda wanted a round of mini golf to teach something about nature along the way, without turning the game into a lesson.
02 / What I built
Players scan a QR code on the course and the scorecard opens in the browser, nothing to install. Everyone picks a name and an illustrated avatar, then counts strokes lane by lane. Every third lane asks a nature question, and players who join the quiz take part in a prize draw.

Icons and illustrations
Avatars and illustrations made with AI image generation and brought into one style, from squirrels and butterflies to Fulda Cathedral.

Small details
Animated lane changes, sheets and buttons, so counting strokes feels like part of the game.

The quiz
One nature question every third lane. Players who take part enter the prize draw.

Admin interface
Staff change the quiz questions and export the winners' data for the prize draw, no developer needed.

Public leaderboard
A ranking of the best rounds, embedded on the Umweltzentrum website.
03 / Result
In use on the course in Fulda. Staff run the quiz and the prize draw themselves, and the leaderboard is live on the Umweltzentrum website.
