VTNT exhibition overview with floor plan and facts

01 / The problem

VTNT helps museums see how visitors move through an exhibition. The first version proved the idea, but it had reached its limits: built on older technology and hard to extend with what customers were asking for.

02 / What I built

Instead of building on top of it, I redesigned and rebuilt the platform from scratch around the features exhibition teams actually use: set up an exhibition, place objects on the floor plan, track visitors and read the results. Then I made it work where exhibitions happen, on the floor and often without signal.

  1. 01

    Offline first, synced automatically

Visitors are tracked right in the exhibition, with or without a connection. Data syncs on its own as soon as the device is back online, nothing gets lost.

  2. 02

    Objects on the exhibition map

Every monitored object sits on the floor plan where it really stands, grouped into rooms. The map becomes the base for every report.

  3. 03

    Reports and dynamic charts

Time spent per object against the ideal time, objects seen per visitor and more, updated live as new visits come in.

  4. 04

    Data exports

Visitor and exhibition data export in one click, ready for any further analysis.

Exhibition facts with visitor and exhibition data downloads
  5. 05

    Documentation, handoff and hosting

Every feature documented, a clean developer handoff, and hosting set up and run for the client.

03 / Result

His customers love the new experience, and the jump in quality went far beyond what he expected. I still develop VTNT today, and small feature requests usually go from request to live in under a day.

What the client says

Leon took the whole thing to a very professional level. Honestly, I didn't expect that.

Working with him was genuinely pleasant, always on time and easy to reach. It went very well, and I'd happily do it again.
